Bartending 101 - A Hands On Interactive Class

11/25/2006
"The hard part about being a bartender is figuring out who is drunk and who is just stupid." (Richard Braunstein)

Manhattans, Martinis, and Sloe Gin Fizzes await you at TTD’s Bartending 101. Sit back and enjoy our introductory seminar and hands-on training class at one of Washington's most respected bartending schools.

Our teachers, will provide you with the highest quality instruction. Train under simulated barroom conditions using a full range of bar tools and equipment. Learn about glassware, different methods of mixing, various cocktail recipes, bartending tricks, handling a crowded bar, etc.

As soon as you walk into the school, you'll find it hard to believe that you are not in a real bar. The school is designed as a real bar. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced bartender, this course will help you gain a basic introductory idea insight into the exciting world of bartending.

With the music playing and students asking for drinks, you would swear that you were standing in a real bar. As you sit in, you will notice how professional the instructors are, how they relate to everyone on different levels

Our class consists of a brief lecture, followed by hours of hands on bar training where you step behind a bar to practice your new skills, tips on techniques, and most importantly, what it feels like from the other side of a bar.
