Low Standards Thursday

A few months ago, some friends and I went out for drinks in Old Town. We were all single at the time, and keeping our eyes open for potential "victims".
However, the crowd was disappointing with very few lookers in the group.
At some point I commented, "You know, there should really be a day where you're allowed to try to hook up with whoever you want, and you can't be judged on it, no matter how bad that person is. Once the day is over though, it's no longer fair game." In short, your friends aren't allowed to give you a hard time, as long as you return the favor.
I then declared that, from that point on, all Thursdays should become "Low Standards Thursdays".
I have yet to find someone that doesn't love this idea. In fact, my female friends bring it up more often than my male friends.
So, readers, I encourage you - take advantage of Low Standards Thursday. Set the bar low, real low. Leave your shame at home. Put on your beer goggles. It's time to make bad decisions.
